When Will Fairburn, 19, an engineer from Louth in Lincolnshire, spotted a SEAT Ibiza Cupra TDi in stock on Jennings SEAT's website, he was keen to get to the dealership promptly and he di rc helicopter and car market place d just that - in a Robinson R44 helicopter.
Craig Trainor, sales executive at the Cargo Fleet Lane dealership, took the initial telephone enquiry from Will who explained that he was currently in Louth, but he was keen to see the car as soon as possible and discuss finance options available to him.
When Will told Craig his expected time of arrival would be within 50 minutes of the telephone call, as he would be travelling from Lincolnshire to Middlesbrough in a helicopter, naturally, Jennings SEAT's sales executive, Craig, thought it was a wind up.
Sure enough, 50 minutes later, a helicopter was circling the dealership and landed safely in a car park opposite the Cargo Fleet Lane branch.
Craig Johnson, franchise manager at the Jennings SEAT d ferrari ealership, said; "This is the first time in the entire history of Jennings that we have experienced a customer travelling in a helicopter, to see a vehicle we have in stock."
The deal was secured on the spot and within a week, Will returned to the de buick alership to take delivery of auto part his new car.
Only this time, he was faced with a 2 ½ hour journey back to his home in Louth, in his new four-wheeled mode of transport, a SEAT Ibiza Cupra TDi.

"They even helped us out with a safe landing spot, near to the dealership."
