Aker Solutions said Statoil had given the company a letter of intent for the project which relates to the Fossekall-Dompap project on the Norwegian continental shelf.
It said in a statement that the scope of the work includes three template-manifold structures, 11 subsea trees, a control system and a tie-in system.
The contract also includes several options for other field developments on the Norwegian continental shelf which Statoil may opt to exercise.
Aker Solutions said that the management, engineering and procurement of the subsea production system would be primarily performed at its Oslo headquarters.
auto part >The fabrication of the subsea trees will be completed at its Tranby manufacturing centre, while production of the control system will take place in Aberdeen, Scotland. Aker said it expects to make final deliveries in the second quarter of 2013.
Fossekall-Dompap is a fast-track energy project located north of the Norne field, 200 kilometres west of Sandessjoen. It is located at a w bmw ater depth of 380 meters.
